Personally I think the biggest problem for those who haven’t practiced using their intuition, instincts and psychic ability, is the lack of personal understanding of which is which and how it “works for me”, none the least of which, thinking their intuition is gut instinct and acting on it immediately before time, and often then actually being the cause of what ever it was they were forewarning themselves of? Encouraging both young and old alike to practice, on what isnt a primary matter, helps to understand this, and these most wonderful tools, given to us, through us, to help preserve life and help it grown, blossom and flourish. A few souls truly are gifted psychics, mediums, philosophers and prophets, but we all have these abilities enough in our elemental make up for our personal and family lives, between us. Those gifted in this way, actually have some very, many, tough life lessons, not because they are bad people, because the degree at which they need to be able to empathise, understand, and relate to those who need their help, in order to be of service. Mediums similarly. They are intuitive arts, but, they actually come under the area of soul healing, not mind, not body although obviously they can have a flow on affect on each other, they are all part of the same whole after all, but this is about where it began and where it is leading, from the soul, outwards through the mind, then body, then materialising life events, experiences and memories this generates. I also feel that those more gifted are more here to aid others to learn to understand and use these abilities wisely. But, that is just my opinion based on my personal life experiences.
