Update on Comments and Good News

usThe comments were not working for a few days but the problem has now been fixed. And subscribers will be getting emails about new posts again.

On a personal note, I am getting married on July 21, 2020. The chart has some challenging aspects like Sun opposite Saturn. It reflects the delays and restraints we face. My partner visa application has been held up because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Astrology was not used to select the time or date. As I tell my clients, using astrology to select event time or to move location for a solar return is tempting fate. If it was meant to be, things will work out just fine.

We could not have got a better time of day though. The rising stars are Spica and Arcturus, and the culminating stars are Sirius and Canopus.

Fixed star Arcturus rising (0°32′): Good fortune, with many cares and anxieties through own folly. Military honor and preferment. Will be loyal to his friends, guarding their secrets in faithful silence. Such a native will be a confidant to heads of state or be entrusted with public funds.

Fixed star Spica rising (0°56′): Unbounded good fortune, happiness, ecclesiastical preferment, unexpected honor or advancement beyond native’s hopes or capacity.

Fixed star Canopus culminating (1°12′): Honor and preferment. Great glory, fame and wealth, dignity and authority by the help of an old clergy man or influential person.

Fixed star Sirius culminating (2°01′): High office under Government giving great profit and reputation. High ecclesiastical honor, martial preferment, prosperity in business.

  25. Congratulations to you! Wish you all the best! Venus and Mars in sextile also is a good aspect – gives you passion in your relationship. Also Mars and Venus as rulers of first and 7th house, which are the symbols of bride and groom, in good aspect helps you solve all your problems. Only i would be affraid of having Venus-Neptune square. Or do you consider orbis of more than 5 degrees not effective? Hard planets in 4th and 7th house also are suggested to avoid as these can bring complications in your family life, relationship and finding stability and firm place to live in.

  37. Sweet joyous news. Am very happy for you both. I have had a relation since 1992 with leo man with sun oppose saturn. 2nd 8th. He has older friends and now does lawn work so lots of older clients. Father very hard on him, very demanding. Has serious teeth issues. I ve seen pretty impressive spirit creative acts from this 1962 leo. We are not together since 2005. Did our own thing. Best Wishes.
