I have never looked at the Quincunxes in my chart until now, and Yes indeed, I do have Jupiter Qunicunx my Pluto — in the 10th house, of all places. I’m a gardener by trade, and I only work part time. However, I’m determined to be the best gardener I can be — even though I don’t make a lot of money — and I get all my work by word of mouth.
But I do have to disagree with you on one thing about the Jupiter/Pluto birth quincunx. Not all of us are so driven to be a success, that we “seek… power and position for selfish motives… lead[ing] to immoral and unethical behavior. Control, manipulation, subversion, abuse, lies, deception, immorality, or criminality carry the risk of legal trouble, loss, failure, and infamy.”
I haven’t done anything dishonest to get ahead in my career. In fact I’m actually “super honest” to my clients and the tax people, and I go out of my way to tell people how to look after their gardens so they don’t need to hire me as often. (Unfortunately, not everyone follows my advice, and I’ve had to say “no” to new clients this year.)
I think one of the reasons I’m extremely honest, is because I was treated extremely unfairly as a child, and I’m determined not to allow this to happen to me anymore. I also know what it’s like to be taken advantage of, and I’m determined not to do this to another human being.
However, I am driven to making sure that if I am cheated or abused in some way, the proper authorities are going to hear about it. Even if I’m not successful in getting justice right away, at least I am opening the door a little bit for all the people behind me who have to deal with the same bullshit.

Great feedback, thankyou. It sounds like you did not the tests to force the evolutionaary leap because you soul is already quite evolved. I should have explained it better. Not everyone with this aspects is selfish and immoral. A good example in the celebrity list is Nadia Boulanger (0°04′). She was not selfish or immoral but obsessive about personal success and about her students giving her their full attention.
I get the tests now, Jamie. As a child, you have to learn to cope because the child is stuck there in the familial unit and surrounds.
As adults, we have a choice.
Some choice, though fate seems to narrow the options sometimes.

I think you have compassion. Is that built into your chart? Alleviating needless suffering well, because you care. If it hurts someone else, it hurts you too.
And then there is the choice people make. Am I pissed off and wreak havoc on others in retaliation or does it develop compassion.

I think my point of compassion being raised in a family of thugs, was my younger sister. I knew love at an early age. What a godsend. I was two and a half when my father carried her thru the door and said this is for you. He had no idea.
Thanks for your kind comments. I was raised in a family of thugs, too, in a slum where everything that wasn’t nailed down, developed legs and walked away. I developed Borderline Personality Disorder, and all the dysfunctional behaviour that goes with it. That must have been my personal Pluto-Jupiter challenge that caused me to evolve. I went through a lot of therapy and support groups, and came out on the other side with an ability to see and appreciate other people’s emotions and opinions.
Oh wow! You done really good. The nest I was born into llooked normal I guess. It was the underlying connivery. So like there was something that never quite right. A fam with one of them secrets. Finally cracked it around age 50. Oh the lies that are told. And the politik that forms around it.
