Pluto trine Pluto transit occurs in your fifties or sixties if you were born before the 1990s. As we move through the twenty-first century, this transit occurs progressively later in people’s lives (see table below).
The effects of this transit are similar to those of the sextile but more intense, as the trine aspect is stronger than the sextile. This is not likely to be a period of great stress in your life unless other transits intervene, which are indicative of stress. But even if there are such transits, this transit will aid you in achieving stability even if the times are otherwise difficult.
But it is a time for simplification and for finding out what is really meaningful to you. It is a period when you are not only able to, but should, make changes. It is a time when you can easily eliminate the old and outworn elements of your life, as there will be little in the way. It may seem so easy that you are not even aware it’s an issue, but you shouldn’t rest on your laurels.
Take an inventory of your life, your friendships, your possessions, and other attachments and involvements. See which of these supports you and at least allows you to grow. These should be preserved. But do not struggle to preserve anything that does not serve you, especially if it seems to be on its way out. This is crucial because anything you don’t eliminate from your life now, if it doesn’t serve you, could become a source of difficulty during more stressful times that may arise later.
This is one of those transits that occurs to an entire generation at about the same time, so that you may see its effects in the lives of those around you, of your own generation, more strongly than in your own life.
