A radical and profound religious revolution is underway. It is a global phenomenon, but its effects are most striking in the USA in the form of Christian Nationalism.
The astrological cause of this revolution is the Minor Grand Trine between the outer planets. This Magic Triangle lasts from 2025 to 2028, and its first climax was in August 2025, as shown in this chart:
As fate would have it, Saturn joined Neptune for the beginning of this long journey of discovery and revelation. However, for the remaining time, Neptune alone sits at the Apex of the Triangle. This is the focal point where the effects of Uranus trine Pluto manifest.
Neptune rules religion, so it is a significant focus on the Magic Triangle. Jupiter is the traditional ruler of religion, but since the discovery of Neptune, it only rules the Church and the clergy.
How does Uranus Trine Pluto affect Religion?
Uranus trine Pluto brings a radical transformation, revolution, reformation, innovation, and technological advancements. These profound changes in society, culture and politics are affecting religion, often through reformers or charismatic agents of change.
The last major religious revolution was the Reformation, which marked the beginning of Protestantism. It began in 1517 when Uranus was trine Pluto. The current religious revolution in the USA is rooted in the traditions of John Calvin, a key figure of the Reformation. He had Uranus sextile Neptune (0°00′).
Tech Billionaires
Tech (Uranus) billionaires (Pluto) are playing significant roles in the 21st-century religious revolution. Peter Thiel recently laid out his religious views to a sold-out audience. He warned that Swedish activist Greta Thunberg and critics of technology or artificial intelligence are “legionnaires of the Antichrist”. He connected government oversight of Silicon Valley to an apocalyptic future.
Thiel’s religious talks were orgainzed by ACTS 17, a Christian nonprofit founded by Michelle Stephens, the wife of Trae Stephens, an investor at Thiel’s venture capital firm, Founders Fund, and a co-founder of military tech company Anduril.
Big Tech and Politics
This religious revolution has seen the convergence of technology (Uranus) oligarchs (Pluto), with radical (Uranus) autocracy (Pluto). Peter Thiel has deep ties to the Trump administration, including White House science adviser Michael Kratsios and David Sacks, White House AI and crypto czar. Thiel was part of a network of tech elites who helped install Vance, a mentee, as vice president. He donated $850,000 to the joint fundraising committee of House Speaker Mike Johnson.
Thiel’s almost nonsensical interpretation of The Book of Revelation and other texts may be the apparent subject of the lectures. But what he truly reveals about himself is how he perceives his power. Peter Thiel and other tech billionaires helped return Trump to office and fund far-right movements to remake society and the world.
Christian Nationalism
The US Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, is a member of the Pilgrim Hill Reformed Fellowship. It is part of the Communion of Reformed Evangelical Churches (CREC), an archconservative network of Christian congregations that sees politics as part of a larger spiritual war.
CREC now has a closer relationship to the upper echelons of government. It recently opened a new outpost in the nation’s capital, Christ Church DC, to serve church members who relocated to work in the Trump administration.
The leader of the CREC is Douglas Wilson, a Christian nationalist who wants the United States to be a Christian nation. He believes that wives should submit to their husbands, that leadership roles in the church should be restricted to men, and that women should not have the right to vote.
The Repercussions
The Trump administration has encouraged religion in the federal workplace. Trump has established faith-focused entities with numerous influential Christian appointees. He’s energized supporters with assaults on cultural and academic targets long seen as liberal bastions. His administration and his Supreme Court appointees have expanded areas for religious exemptions and expression in the public square.
“We’re bringing back religion in our country,” Trump contended at a Rose Garden event on the National Day of Prayer in May. His faith adviser, pastor Paula White-Cain, proclaimed that in his administration, faith “has been brought back to where it always belongs, and that is center.”
- Crackdowns on transgender identity and treatment.
- Allowing pastors to endorse political candidates without risking tax-exempt status.
- Targeting Planned Parenthood.
- Evangelist-led faith office led by Paula White-Cain.
- Task force on anti-Christian bias.
- Religious Liberty Commission.
- Evangelical ambassador to Israel, Gov. Mike Huckabee.
- Religion in the federal workplace.
- Supreme Court impact.
- Fighting a culture war.
Summary
This religious revolution is more conservative and backward-looking than the Reformation. This must be due to Saturn conjunct Neptune during the first climax of the Magic Triangle in August 2025.
Neptune also rules medicine, drugs, transexuality, and welfare. These areas are subject to the same radical transformation of Uranus trine Pluto, especially where they overlap with the religious ideology of the Trump administration.
This presidency will have profound consequences for the nation. Democracy has been replaced by autocracy, and now we await the ramifications. Conservative values, especially toward women, could lead to the restriction of women’s rights and freedoms. No wonder “The Handmaid’s Tale” is flying off the shelves.
