Yangmen is northeast of Kulou (Arsenal), representing the borderlands and dangerous terrain. When a guest star appears at Yangmen, it signifies barbarian invasions. [2]
Song History (1346)
The two stars of Yangmen lie northeast of Kulou (Arsenal); they signify guarding passes and defending against foreign invaders. If five planets enter this asterism, weapons of war are put away. If a comet lingers there, foreign tribes will invade the borders and war will break out. If red clouds or vapors enter the area, it heralds the deployment of military forces. [3]
