Asteroid Hygeia is the fourth largest of the asteroids and takes 5½ years to orbit the Sun. It was named after the Greek goddess of health, daughter of Asclepius (god of medicine). So as the personification of health, cleanliness, and sanitation, we might consider that asteroid 10 Hygeia relates to these things in astrology. Other astrologers have said as much which I will mention later.
I’ll also look at some personal transits involving Hygeia for an operation I had in 2012. I must say that the astrology does confirm the belief that she has association with health. First though, I’ll show the discovery chart and see if there is anything there which might be associated with the meaning of the name, “Hygeia”.
Asteroid Hygeia Astrology Chart
Asteroid 10 Hygeia was discovered by Annibale de Gasparis on April 12, 1849, in Naples, Italy. I could not find an exact time so have set the chart for 10 pm. Mars conjunct Neptune is interesting and must be important in this chart because it is on the degree of the previous Solar Eclipse. Neptune does rule illness and Mars pain, and they make a quincunx aspect to asteroid Hygeia. The quincunx is an aspect of health, usually some imbalance. Mercury, the messenger of the gods, is also important because it is on the degree of the preceding New Moon, both opposite asteroid Hygeia.
So there are opposing forces to contend with, some difficulty in getting her message across. That makes sense, we know what’s good for us but how many of us refuse to listen to good health advice? Mercury conjunct Saturn implies a serious message but also difficulty getting it across. Mercury conjunct Saturn can also mean depressing news, or melancholic thoughts, and that tends to be what we think when being lectured about health issues. This conjunction can also mean we fear knowing something, or fear the worst, in this case hypochondria. More melancholic thoughts and even fear of poison comes from the North Node on the fixed star Zosma.
Asteroid Hygeia Astrology Chart
Venus in The Pleiades is associated with sickness by Robson, and Venus is opposite Chiron, the wounded healer. Although I have guessed the discovery time, it must have been around then as discoveries in those days had to be made at night with a telescope. Within a couples of hours either side of 10 pm, the Moon was on the fixed star Ras Alhague, the brightest star in constellation Ophiuchus (Aesculapius), the father of Hygeia. He holds the Serpent of wisdom and healing, and this is how Hygeia is depicted in ancient sculptures and artworks. Ebertin says that this star makes one:
especially prone to infectious contamination caused by toxins. People thus influenced are easy-going in the use of medical drugs, hallucinatory drugs stimulating foodstuffs, too much good living and overindulgence in tobacco and alcohol.
Astrologers on Asteroid Hygeia
As I mentioned in the introduction, astrologers have made the link between asteroid Hygeia and health. Loni Haas say asteroid Hygeia:
represents our attitude and belief system concerning health and fitness awareness. Hygeia also rules sanitation and the valuable role hygiene and diet play in health maintenance. She often shows up by transit or appears on a major angle when an individual is experiencing a health issue…Hygeian influence is felt among dietitians, physical fitness educators and teachers, dental hygienists, mental health facilitators who embrace the mind/body connection, holistic practitioners, sanitation inspectors, environmentalists, and preservationists who believe keeping the Earth clean and pollution free.
Jeremy Neal makes a good argument for Asteroid Hygeia ruling Virgo and the 6th house:
if we are burning the candle at both ends, drinking too much, eating junk food and not washing enough we are offending Hygeia, and her judgement will be handed down in the form of illness, disease, degeneration and habitual instability. This is why Hygeia and the 6th house are a perfect fit; it is why Virgo and Hygeia are very comfortable together. Here is the exact kind of specific, attentive, habitual, nutritional and service-minded concern that is so beloved of Virgo. Virgo is Hygeia.

Personal Experience
I wrote this when I first published this post on 15 February 2012: Earlier today I went to hospital for a colonoscopy and gastrectomy (probed in both ends), because I had a test a few months ago which was positive for blood in my poo. I looked at the charts and there were obvious indicators like Uranus on my Chiron and Neptune opposite my Mars. I included asteroid Hygeia out of interest and it was most interesting. When I had the test, asteroid Hygeia was on the fixed star Ras Alhague (her dad), and transiting Pluto was square my Hygeia. When the doctor told me the results, Hygeia was conjunct Mercury (health news), both on my Ascendant. When I had the operation today, Hygeia was conjunct the Midheaven and sextile my Hygeia.

In my chart she’s at 7 Pisces, a few degrees away from my Chiron/Jupiter conjunction at 11/13 Pisces. I’d need to look back at transits to see if she’s had any obvious effects on illnesses, particularly infections. She’s also opposite Pluto and I do have a nagging fear of contamination which can be quite unsettling. Near to Chiron, with his healing qualities, is perhaps a good place for her to be!
I think “Hygiene” has to be the biggest key word for her. I note that Sun conjunct Uranus maybe overly anal, keeping things so sanitised that they are devoid of life. Virgo too, the perfectionist, hypochondriac and the worrier. How appropriate a Virgo wrote this post eh ;)?
I would say that Ceres is related to Virgo too, but it’s almost Hygiea’s shadow. Ceres to me all all natural foods, good bacteria, hairy armpits, mouldy cheese and earthy, I reckon they have very relaxed anus’s. Hygeia, hmmmm, a bit prissy, very British, and thinks bidets are rude!
fascinating stuff. Hygiea is at 0 Gemini for me, and my MC is 2 Gemini. Hmmm, my first “mid life crisis” at 28 was was to leave a lucrative career and be trained as a massage therapist. My thought was to use aromatherapy, Reiki, and reflexology with traditional Swedish. My practical partner and parental units talked me out of it but I did complete the training and practiced for a short time. At 42, I have a renewed interest (with Mars transiting my first house where I am a Virgo rising) in healing by use of essential oils of plants. I’ve had to rebalance my life over the last several months because of a recent health crisis. I’ll have to play around with the charts to see how Hygeia fits in with all of it.
Mine is in the 6th house, Aries <1º Sextile Jupiter and just a couple degrees from my NN. It's interesting you mentioned massage therapy Dragonfly. Just the other day (the new moon now that I think of it) I contacted a school to look into their massage therapy program! With Virgo Mars in my 10th I had the drive to inquire, but time will tell if anything comes of it.
Huh – interesting. Hygiea is located in my 5th @ 22 deg. Capricorn right alongside my Mars (also in the 5th) at 23 deg. Capricorn.
oh my I have Hygiea in conjunction with Dionysius, Uranus and my South Node in 6th. I am a healer . A wounded healer and have been poisoned. A friend sent a beautiful statue of her to me last year without knowing anything about her. She sits next to my bed.
On my IC natally (and retrograde), 1 degree from Regulus – opposing Chiron (in 9th), not sure how this would manifest…? I have no chronic health issues (unless hay fever counts?:)). She’s currently in my 8th house so has recently conjuncted(?) most of my natal planets (7 of them are in houses 6, 7 and 8). I was diagnosed with thyroid disease last year and am struggling to shake the fatigue and weight gain that came with that, before diagnosis. It’s all I can come up with. I’m pretty robust as a rule.
I can relate – I was diagnosed with Graves Disease last year and then a few months later, Hashimoto’s Disease. My most recent doc thinks I had Hashimoto’s before Graves (which is when the thyroid is overactive). Radiation was done on my thyroid but it survived – my most recent levels were “normal” though I don’t feel normal. I have refused to take synthroid and am using supplements, lowered stress, cut coffee, increased sleep and exercise. It is working but slowly. The fatigue and weight gain are rough.
Have you tried 5-HTP? It is a supplement that helps your body produce serotonin and there are no side effects. It’s also less expensive than pharmaceutical anti-depressants. also check out Vegetarian Thyro, which contains plant sources of nutrition for the thyroid as well as L-tyrosine. One of the problems with the conventional treatment of underactive thyroid is it is so one-dimensional. Just replacing the thyroid hormone with synthroid ignores how complex the body is. If what is driving your disease is an auto-immune disorder, like me, then synthroid won’t solve the problem.

The thyroid thing is auto-immune, I’, on thyroxine now and recovering well. I’m not depressed, not at all! Not so exhausted now, either, now my meds are balanced and working (at last!) I’m doing a hard, fast 5 mile walk almost every day (when the weather permits) and getting better all the time – losing the weight is proving more of a problem than I’d hoped, but it is coming off slowly, now I’m a little less tired.

5-HTP is an excellent anti depressant. There is a herbal product called Prime-1 which is fantastic too. The main ingredient is Eleutherococcus or Siberian ginseng which is not actually ginseng. This is the best anti depressant I have ever used. Again, no side effects. Google it, as you’ll get all the gen on it and suppliers.
Out of interest, I just checked the date I was diagnosed with the thyroid problem – Hygiea was in my 1st house, *exactly* (to 30 seconds) opposing my Saturn/POF.

I have Hygeia in my 10th house (14 Cancer 22′ 14″), about 7 degrees from my MC at 7 Can 48′ 28″, 7 degrees from my Sun (7 Cancer 18′ 59″), which is in the 9th House, and a little further away from P. Fortuna (28 Can 15′ 7″). Other than that, Hygeia doesn’t seem to be doing anything interesting aside from sitting directly under Sirius and being semisextile -0°07s Uranus. One would think I’d have luck in anything remotely medical, yes? Let’s just say that the part about Hygeia being in Cancer, where there’s concern for family members’ health is true. I’m good at diagnosing disease, both physical and psychiatric, though I don’t really have an aptitude for science or math (too bad). In a way I’ve made a career of taking care of my family, although my health has prevented much else.
I started the transit thingy for 10 Dec 2011, the day I officially moved in with my brother and mother, flying from California to South Carolina. Hygiea was in my 3rd house at 3 Capricorn 29, right next to Pluto at 6 Capricorn 32 and my IC at 7 Capricorn 48. I also had Venus in my 4th house at 16 Capricorn 41. I had economic as well as emotional reasons for relocating, as my mother is up in years, destitute, and rather fragile. In June she was considered too ill for assisted living, but too healthy for Medicaid. My youngest brother was taking care of her all by himself, which I didn’t think fair so I wanted to help. Our middle brother pays for our mother’s health insurance, but is otherwise physically and emotionally absent.
Today Pluto is transiting my 4th house at 9 Cap 41. Hygeia is transiting the same house, though at 4 Aquarius 35, approaching Chiron in my 5th house at 27 Aquarius 16. Pluto is not providing much fun for me lately. I will be glad when this particular Pluto transit is over.

When I looked at the Sept.1 2011 chart, marking the sudden onset of a current neuropathy condition, Hygiea was transiting in 1st house conjunct Natal Isis, squared by transiting Neptune conjunct natal 4th house Chiron. I’ve been required to “sit down” both physically and psychologically for the first time in my very active life. A case of “healer heal thyself” ? The testings continue, with no sound diagnosis yet … as Hygiea now transits the third. A meeting with all my doctors last week occurred as Hygiea was opposite n-Mercury 9th.
Natally, like Meredith, its at 13 Cancer 8 degrees from the Sun, and 5 degrees from a square to the nodes. 4 degrees from the Sun/Mercury midpoint. It’s tightest aspect is trine the ASC. It could reflect, by its position in the 8th house with the Sun, my life-long interest in psychology. Its a Scorpio ASC, so more “depth-psyche” indicated by the trine ?
Hygeia was conjunct Saturn on my descendant when I had a life threatening infection, but Pluto, N node and Ceres were square my sun at the same time.
Hygeia is conjunct my 12 house sun natally, quincunx 6th house Uranus and loosely Pluto too. Jeez, I should have been a hospital matron or a slightly loony drains inspector. Oh, that was my grandfather!
Hygeia is in Virgo in my 1st house almost at the tail end of stuff there. a tight Pluto/Uranus conjunction that’s conjunct my Virgo Ascendant is out front followed by Pandora, Isis, Hygeia with Cassandra all in Virgo bringing up the rear. All of this opposes my 7th house Pallas/Saturn/Mercury/Chiron/True Lilith in Pisces.
I think Hygeia has made me find out what’s going on and get my act together before whatever health issue I was having at the time got way out of hand. This is not to say that I’m a health saint…far from it. However I have implemented many lifestyle changes towards healthier habits including mental.
Finally got to checking my Hygeia. Its opposite Ceres in a grand trine with the Sun and North node. So then its a Kite. No wonder I’m such a health freak. And a nag about what people put in their bodies…

Sometimes we get these warnings as wake up calls. He is getting better about his diet now. He’s the kind of person that sits infront of the computer, forgets to eat and then snacks on chocolate and crisps. When I’m in the same country as him my nagging Sicilian Ceres makes him sit at the table and eat properly!
Mine is in Pisces, conjunct Chiron, Isis and AC. Hum … Hygiene? I don´t care if the house is messy but I guess I´m a bit peculiar about food: As my body is my souls castle (!) I treat it with respect. Still, I´m always more worried about others health than my own. When I had the procedure last week, the doctor cut out a lump in my bowel, he said it was a large polyp. I had the followup appointment booked for next Thursday, but yesterday his secretary rang me and asked me to come in Monday instead.
The chart for the phone call from his secretary has the AC conjunct my Saturn, Mercury opposite my Sun Uranus, and asteroid Hygeia conjunct my Part of Spirit.
Mercury retrograde will be opposite my Sun Uranus on March 23, which is when I’m booked to fly to London. This is what I wrote about my decan in the March Horoscopes: “you are going to feel this one pretty strongly. That means being rushed, confused thinking, disagreements and misunderstandings. I would not be signing contracts during this period. If you are forced to make important decisions then seek advice from someone you can really trust to go over all the details and fine print, because you are likely to be too scattered to focus properly. If you have to travel then be prepared for some delays and changes of plan. Communications and transport can be unreliable at this time.”

As I expected, the specialist today told me I had cancer. I should be in hospital in the next two weeks for another operation. I did the chart for my appointment today, this time, Mercury was conjunct Uranus in the sky, both conjunct my asteroid Hygeia. There has been lots of synastry in these charts with Marina’s natal chart too, of course she is deeply affected.
I have stopped doing readings and Marina is also in the process of scaling back her workload. I’m not loosing my passion for astrology and what we have at this website. I’m going to put my energy into getting ahead on the monthly horoscopes and hopefully getting back to writing posts on things I like.
Jamie, you’ve been in my thoughts. Sending you loving healing light. I had breast cancer two years ago. Touch wood, all ok. The reconstruction went fine but it has to be redone over the next 3-6weeks. I’m hoping mars / merc retro is ok for a “do over.” We’re all with you.
Thanks, Victoria. I’m just now finding out how supportive people really are. It makes a big difference for positive thinking. Another way for me to keep positive is to focus on the astrology. I’m keeping records of all the dates and times for the various appointments and procedures. When it’s all done it will make for some useful research on asteroids as well as transits, even synastry charts. It’s the study of these kinds of personal experiences which really shows how amazing astrology is.
Two days ago I started writing up my year ahead transits in my diary and got very depressed when I got half way through. I needed to chat to Marina on Skype for a while. I then went back and keep going with the transits and saw the light at the end of the tunnel. The next day I saw my surgeon who explained the scan results and what would happen over the next year. It fitted right in with what the transits told me the night before.
Another positive thing it that all these doctors all the way through have taken my profession seriously, and asked my opinion on what the transits had in store for me over the next year.
Will you be doing surgery and post-op in London or your home base of Australia? No matter which, don’t forget when you are next in London – maybe you and Marina can skip over to Paris for a weekend. Some good healing 🙂

my hygeia is at 29 sagittarius, where it opposes jupiter, trines venus/merc in aries, trines leo and quincunxes mars in cancer, so it hits a lot of my planets. as to what it all means, i’m not sure! i think i do have a tendency to indulge in certain phases of life, so that could be shown by the opposition to jupiter maybe? i am not afraid of doctors and get regular checkups and haven’t had too many health problems thus far. i am a vegetarian and steer clear of drinking soda, but i still smoke occasionally (used to smoke regularly) so i am kind of a mixed bag with health issues, i guess.

I’m taking slow release pain tablets, they should last for 12 hours because they have a coating which should slowly break down in the stomach. For some reason, I’ve been crapping them out intact. Bugger that, I’m crushing them now till I get something that works tomorrow from the chemist.
Hi Jamie, I’m just really tuning in this moment although I know Marina was going down for the operation on the tumor. I was just researching hygeia again as it’s going over my Aquarius moon in transit i note. When Uranus went over that moon I got breast cancer ie time for radical mastectomy. But however, I managed some stuff up into the light and made some decisions and beat it with only a wide excision and a arm that they said might not stretch full out again due to severed nerves in removing lymph glands. Thereafter I was invited to teach yoga and got more than full extension back. The doctor’s I had wouldn’t allow any nonsense like dreams etc. So that’s a good one for you. Hygeia says visuals, impressions, thoughts and this time I find it’s mom in the clean white mod kitchen @ wide windows showing beautiful tall flowers.
I also met an old couple volunteering who beat intestinal cancer. Heard incredible stories all along the route. I call on Archangel Michael – one time I was dreaming of a unreal emerald coloured sea @hi waves. I’ll ask him to help you tonight. Have a good recovery. Blessings.

I got good news today. Saw a liver specialist who said not to worry about that, I had thought there was cancer there too. Just need to monitor it regularly with scans. He did say I would need chemo after the colon surgery, which was one of those visualizations I had recently, some extra bald patches, not attractive!
Next date is next Thursday with my surgeon to do the hospital paperwork and go over the plan. Jupiter trine my Moon that day sounds positive. We lost some comments over the last few days when we moved servers. I’m getting some domestic help, every school day for 4 hours after school, lasting 13 weeks. That sounds like Jupiter trine Moon.
Seems to be dragging out a bit though. Waiting for the liver specialist who only comes up from Sydney now every now and again, as it turned out I don’t need another operation for that and it has delayed me getting into hospital. Mercury went retrograde on my IC. Thought I would have heard back by now about when the carer can start.
I will be having the surgery after the March 22 new moon, conjunct my Chiron – wounding to heal. It’s in this part of the lunar cycle which is favorable, as the last solar eclipse was trine my Chiron.
I did up the chart for my good news today, some connections to my chart, especially the quarter moon one hour before, trine my Mercury. Also the Vertex was conjunct my Part of Spirit, last week Hygeia was conjunct it. But yet again it was really amazing compared to Marina’s chart:

Jamie, so glad to read your update that there is no cancer on the liver. I’ve been following your posts and keeping you and Marina and your children in my thoughts.
I wonder if Hygeia transiting natal Sun is indicative of gaining strength. I’ve had some health issues, nothing as serious as yours, but they’ve been going on for a while, with the first diagnosis end of August. Radiation therapy in September, and, around the shadow phase of the Mars Retrograde, I received another diagnosis that was even more troubling than the first. I went to an iridologist and began taking supplements on November 22, and I’ve felt positive results ever since. Just recently, I’ve begun feeling stronger and clearer than I have in several years. I notice that Hygeia is transiting just near my natal Sun (8 Aquarius in the 6th house).
I really have enjoyed this article on Hygeia as I feel very Virgo in personality too – 4 Virgo is my AC. I like the idea of her ruling Virgo and sixth house matters.

With Hygea 28 gem conjunct my Venus at 0 cancer and moon 27 gem within in the 8th house, I find this so apt for my experience and profession. I ran a Health food store for many years and am now teaching yoga. Have found the mars retro travelling through my 6th house a great time to cover all those health maintenance issues and have been working through a major list also.

I took a look at my natal chart, and I have Hygiea exactly conjunct my natal Chiron at 7 Aquarius in my 10th house. It’s also just 2 degrees away from my natal Moon at 5 Aquarius. I find it interesting that Hygiea would be conjunct the wounded warrior, although I have no idea what it means in the 10th house!
Hygeia would have a lot of association with Chiron. In the 10th you may end up with a career in the healing fields, or at least a keen interest.
You’re right Jamie – with Hygiea sex Chiron and both of them quincunx my Moon (yup, a Yod) I am a bit of interested in healing things. The hospital rang today with my surgery date, next Tuesday. Here is the chart for when they rang, Hygeia conjunct MC, again!
and look at Lilith/Jupiter on the AC, Saturn in 6th, Pluto and Vertex in the 8th. Wow. Your health issues are proving the influence of Hygeia. She is at my MC in my natal, by the way, opposite my Neptune.

What does it mean tight conjunction of Hygeia,Venus, ANTEROS,Apollo all in taurus and the opposition of these to Toro and Hypnos -these in scorpio?
The orbs for these aspects are very little fewer than 1 degree,1 or 2 degrees.Only for the Apollo the orbs are about 3 degrees.
Don’t know about those other asteroids, haven’t studied them yet. Hygeia with Venus I could imagine has something to do with health issues regarding your appearance, skin, hormones, plastic surgery or some other cosmetic touch ups. Would be interested to see what you think.

Ceres on the MC, Hygeia on Vertex. Moon conjunct Algol, Pluto conjunct DC. Looks a bit scary but I think it is excellent for destroying a tumor.
Ceres and the MC are conjunct my Saturn.
Should be in hospital for about a week, chat later everyone.

UPDATE! Spoke to Jamie just now. He is out of intensive care and in the normal ward. He says he feel very positive mentally, in pain but he doesn’t care because he just feels so good about the news and what the doctor just said.
They took out his appendix too because it looked inflamed. They said they couldn’t see any cancer visually, but they have sent what they took out to the lab and depending on what they find in that we will then know if he will needs chemo or not. The surgeon doesn’t think he will, so fingers crossed! We had been assuming that was all a given. This morning his daughter went to visit and he was up walking about. The rest of his kids went this afternoon. I have everyone on facebook sending healing energy, prayers and Reiki. Everyone has and continues to be wonderful.
He found out he was officially opened up at 3.45pm. So heres the chart:

Re hygeia, I have her conjunct Neptune. Water is a huge healer for me. I positively revive when immersed in water! I can sped hours in a bath, shower, swimming, I use lots of filters, magnetic rods etc to improve my tap water. I’m also a great listener when people are ill.
very cool – I feel the same way about water but Hygeia is opposite my Neptune, with Hygeia at the MC and Neptune at the IC. I like to use aromatherapy oils in the bath. Have you used filters that make your water more alkaline? I am using alkaline water now to heal my thyroid. There is more than one maker, but Kangen is the name of the company that made this filter I am using now.
Fantastic! I’ll look into that. I’ve just been diagnosed with a slightly under active thyroid and I feel like a lump of dough! I also gained 7 lbs overnight and can’t get rid of it. Is alkaline water the same as Penta water? or the water which has had its molecular structure restored?

I know what you mean about a lump of dough and truly feel for you. After being in a hyperactive thyroid state for a while and having thyroid storm, the hypothyroid experience gave me the deep sense of becoming completely still on my internal axis. Beginning to move again has been such an amazing change that I can now appreciate just how incredible that little thyroid is.
uberqueenofwands, I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to have all the right tests done before you are told to do something like surgery or hormone replacement therapy. here in the US, anyway, there is a protocol that is quite narrow, flowing from Japanese experience following WWII, and the options are one – take fake hormone therapy and follow a routine of limited blood testing to validate the doctor’s prescription rather than the true Hygeia way – healing holistically. Finally I have found the specialist who is looking deeply at my whole blood work picture as opposed to a few indicators.
Also keep in mind that the ‘normal’ range has changed over time. you have your own normal that may be ‘low normal’ or ‘high normal’ or average, who knows, only you do. I have read that simply walking for thirty minutes a day and sleeping 8 hours a night will heal the hypothyroid (I believe this is true if the underlying cause is the pituitary).
That is the challenge – is the hypo caused by the pituitary or by a thyroid disease? it’s very complex and fascinating. I’ve learned a lot over the last five months.

Thanks so much! And Dragonfly was right – it was adrenals and pituitary underlying! I got on the small protein meals and it has worked dramatically in only a few days. I’m a type O with a heavy dairy and gluten allergy so no animal is safe now! I’m taking CHinese herbs and raw gland therapy and it seems to be working!

Iodine is needed for healthy thyroid function. You can get it in tablets or naturally by eating kelp seaweed.

Glad to be home! Still waiting on the biopsy results, should find out by the end of this week. The new moon before my surgery was conjunct my Chiron by half a degree. Chiron is most definitely pain. I has always been associated with alternative therapies but now I’m thinking it is associated with traditional medicine and doctors generally.
The quarter moon the day before I left hospital was sextile my Moon, good for family support and the comfort of home.

Yes I kind of agree with that for Chiron. I guess the reason it has been associated with alternative healing was that it was discovered at a time when alternative methods were just breaking through. But some of those alternative methods are seeping into mainstream medicine whether conventional doctors admit it or not.
When I went to my GP about my shoulder pain, she didn’t prescribe me painkillers, she sent me to a masseur. That might not have happened 10 years ago. Also homeopathy, Kinesiology and even acupuncture are sometimes offered as complimentary medicine on the national health here. I associate Ceres with more natural/ alternative medicine. It’s more like the village herbalist.

Yes, in the Greek myth, Chiron had a wound he could not heal.
My wound is related to a blood disorder. I have Mars quincunx Chiron. and the disorder to too much Iron (Mars) in my blood. Hemochromotosis damages the organs and increases the risk of cancer. Mars quincunx Chiron is definitely cutting to heal. I’m covered in scars, and have to give blood regularly (cutting veins) to keep my Iron levels down.
You can link my bowel cancer to bad diet and a history of drug addiction. Even injecting drugs was Mars quincunx Chiron, it may have been wounding but now I’m taking morphine tablets in order to heal.

Good news today. Initial biopsy results say it was a grade 1, one inch tumor with 10 nodes, all of which were removed. Have to wait for final results next week but it is looking like I won’t need chemotherapy.

Thank you Katy and TigerTed, it’s a bit surreal to think that I only found out I had cancer on the 4th of March. Now four weeks later I’ve had the surgery and got the all clear by the looks of things. My head is still spinning!
I looked back at my solar return chart and there are indicators there of a health crisis. I added a comment with the chart on this post: Solar Return Charts
I got the all clear today, do not need chemotherapy. The surgeon said “you are essentially cured”, but technically need to have clear scan results for 5 years.
Mercury direct conjunct my Chiron, same spot as the March New Moon.
Mercury retrograde was conjunct my Chiron when the hospital rang me with the operation date.
There it is – the news we’ve been waiting for! Outstanding.

I think I said this before to someone…turmeric cures cancer. Proved…it works fast and efficient. According to the hindu medical books it “cures tumours whether benign or malignant”. The BBC ran an article about its cancer curing powers not very long ago…confirms that western research has confirmed that it really does cure. I have cured a skin cancer that went dangerous…easily.
You need to take one heaped teaspoonful of turmeric mixed into warm water at least twice a day…three times is faster..( and is good taken on an empty stomach …or at least not too close to main meals )It is of mediocre flavour like that…like soup with all the flavouring left out….it should not interfere with your chemo.
