Full Moon April 2018 AstrologyThe full moon on Sunday April 29, 2018 at 9° Scorpio is a good omen for stability and success. The Full Moon April 2018 astrology focuses on the benefits of the planet Saturn which are preparedness, steadiness, determination and final success.

The April 2018 full moon also marks a turning point in the current eclipse cycle because it is 3 months since the January 31 lunar eclipse. The April 29 full moon is not only square the position of the January 2018 lunar eclipse, it is also square minor planets Ceres. This means that working mothers and single parents face particular tests and challenges. Sharing and delegating responsibility is essential to final success where Ceres is concerned.

Inner tension and external pressures can lead to personal conflict and crises that drain your energy. Your home, family and intimate relationships comes into sharper focus following a full moon.

The lunar qualities of emotions and instincts reach their peak at a full moon. Use you increased emotional strength and intuition to overcome any relationship challenges. Subconscious awareness allows for an impartial and balanced look at your personal relationships. You will clearly see any relationship dynamics or negative feelings causing disharmony.

A full moon has a relationship to the previous new moon. Your April 15 new moon goals can now be fine-tuned or completed, it is harvest time. You can make emotional adjustments in response to those new goals. The full moon effect lasts for two weeks up to the May 15 New Moon.

Full Moon April 2018 Astrology

Moon sextile Saturn makes you feel protective of your family and partner. You will show how much you care for them in practical ways, not through public displays of emotion. Your task is to give nourishment and comfort through food, shelter and a shoulder to cry on. This is a good full moon for sharing deeper more serious emotions with a loved one. Commitment, loyalty and the family home may be topics of interest during the coming two weeks.

You can carry out your duties and responsibilities with care and patience. Shared responsibilities should also be attended to. Respect for tradition and ancestors may lead to visits to the nursing home or cemetery. Organizing photos in an album would be emotionally satisfying. You will have the patience and understanding to convert online photos to the real deal and visa versa.

This is the perfect full moon to complement the April 15 new moon because the major theme of that new moon was making a positive change in your life. The New Moon two weeks ago was particularly good for making a fresh start in your love life. Whether rejuvenating an existing relationship or finding new love, the planets align in your favor.

The April 29 full moon now brings the stability and security to crystallize recent changes and make them permanent improvements. This is a good full moon for making new partnerships binding, formal and legal. It is a good full moon for tradition, ritual and ceremony.

New projects, relationships and partnerships since the April 15 new moon have a good chance of success because that new moon aligned with a fixed star associated with preparedness, steadiness, determination and final success. Full Moon April 2018 sextile Saturn is an excellent omen because Saturn rules preparedness, steadiness, determination and final success.

Single ParentFull Moon Square Ceres

The January 31 lunar eclipse at 11°37′ Leo was conjunct minor planet Ceres. Because of retrograde motion, Ceres is now at 10°16′ Leo conjunct the North Node of the Moon. This means that the April 29 full moon represents a major turning point in the current eclipse cycle. The moon rules women and traditional motherhood, while Ceres rules independent women and modern motherhood.

The January 31 lunar eclipse and the April 29 full moon focus attention on single mothers and working mothers. Sole parent fathers are included with Ceres because they play the role of nurturer. Social discussions and political debate will include parenting styles, custody rights, maternity leave, childcare and equal pay. While full moon April 2018 offers stability and security for families and relationships, it also represents more struggles for some women and single parents.

Ceres square the full moon and quincunx Saturn means working women, single parents and the environment will come under a lot of pressure during the next two weeks. If you resonate more with Ceres than the Moon, balancing your responsibilities is your key to success. Try to share responsibility and where you can, delegate some of your less critical duties to others. Parenting has always been a communal responsibility but some people need reminding of this.If the Full Moon April 2018 astrology chart directly impacts your horoscope decan you can read about it in your monthly horoscope. 1. Soooo, this for me is conjunct natal Neptune rx in 1st house at 8Scorpio45 which will be similar position in Scoprio for anyone born around the year I was. However, for me, Neptune is in a grand water trine with Mercury rx in 9th house Cancer & Chiron rx 4th house in Pisces, plus Mercury is involved in a yod, sextile Pluto (opposite Chiron) with Jupiter rx conjunct IC as the nozzle, so the easy flow of the grand water trine always passes the baton to the highly stressed angles of the yod, every time one of them is activated. Through working with & learning to understand step by step, from them all as I have worked my way through 56 years of life, I do feel I have learned well what I have personally needed to, while sharing what I have learned as I go, with those I find myself walking a way with, yet those influences along with another yod involving Saturn rx Sun & NN, & some other harshly challenging influences have had it be quite a perilous rite of passage which culminated in an extremely traumatic period during the 7 x Pluto/Uranus squares, Cardinal crosses & a Chiron return occurring while the Fisher King himself was rising through the etheric sea, threatening to overwhelm my life raft…So what do ya think Jamie, I certainly know I cannot walk on water, indeed only just beginning to get back on my feet on dry land, so should I head for the hills? Or get ready to surf, again… Hahaha!

  2. Hi Jamie,
This full moon is conjunct my natal Uranus (6th house). Should I expect to get bad news regarding my job?
Pls advice. 11th june 1977 4:55 am, Pune India

    • Im not Jamie but having Uranus in 6th already crazy enough to be troublesome in your work. Full moon just exaggerate your inherent erraticness. If you already master your Saturn lesson and had very tedious and determined mission in your career, then just wait for the good news you hoping for.
It could be good- Moon transit conj Uranus sextile Saturn or bad= Sun in Asc? opposite Uranus+Moon in 6th..you have that unpopular position to start, sorry.

  3. Robyn, I would like to think that everyone can find true joy. My Moon is conjunct Pluto in Leo and I have found joy, although any Plutonic chart is going to have its challenges. Yours, with the Sun conjunct Pluto in the 8th is certainly Plutonic, meaning you will always be needing to let go to the wisdom of the Universe and your higher self to guide you in the direction that is best for you. The Sun in Leo NEEDS a joyful experience of life, and will keep guiding you in that direction. Do you have Sagittarius or Capricorn rising?

  4. I absolutely love reading your posts. This is the best astrology site I’ve ever read. The articles are filled with insight and help deepen my understanding of myself and my life and make more sense of things. Thank you.

  5. Im enjoying the wave! This making lovely grand trines to my Asc, Sun, Mars in feminine signs. So it’s like having vitality in passive way.

  6. The April 29 full moon at 9 degrees is exact to my natal Scorpio moon at 9 degrees conjunct pluto. What does this mean

  7. Hi Jamie, reading your post make feel much more positive despite the fact that right now I have Uranus transit almost in exact opposition to natal mars ( which is the ruler of MC), neptune transit almost in excat opposition to Natal Juno (and close to be in opposition to natal Jupiter) and Pluto retrograde coming once again closer to another opposition to natal Venus….which all together sounds like challenging times coming up….could the good vibes of this full moon be overshadowed? Thanks

      • It falls on the 4th house. …I have mercury in Virgo at 6.34 degrees, Ceres in Cancer at 7.43 degrees, part of fortune in Capricorn at 8.14 and Palas at 5.34 Taurus and Sedna at 6.36 Taurus ….so not hiting directly any planets unless I take a 2 degree orb.

  8. Hello this moon gave me a real hard punch about a relationship ending. I was able to confirm some details which were shocking to me. is there any connecting eclipse later on during the year that will effect it. I am libra rising and aries sun and virgo moon
