The 6th asterism of the Emptiness Mansion is called 哭 Kū, “Crying,” representing crying rather than “Weeping” (asterism Qi). It is composed of 2 stars from the constellations Aquarius and Capricornus. [1]

The three stars south of Xu (虚) are called “Ku” (哭), signifying weeping and wailing; their brightness indicates much weeping in the country, and the same applies if they are guarded by Venus and Mars. [2]
Song History (1346)
Ku consists of two stars located south of Xuxiu, overseeing mourning and death. If the moon, Five Luminaries, comets, or bright guest stars transit this area, it indicates mourning. [3]
