Pluto direct passed over Giedi on February 17, 2026. On the same day, Iran temporarily closed the Strait of Hormuz for “safety and maritime concerns” as it conducted live military drills. ^[3] It completely closed the Strait on February 28, 2026, in response to the Israel–US War on Iran.
