I’ve noticed that the Corvus region will be activated around the perihelion of comet C/2025 K1 (ATLAS). But if the comet is not visible to the naked eye, does that mean the “message” isn’t delivered? I remember reading something like this in one of your long and very rich articles about comets.
I’d also like to add something about the green color of comet 3I/ATLAS — it reminded me of comet ZTF, which we observed in early 2023, around the time of the major earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria. There’s also comet Lemmon, which will likely be visible to the naked eye, with its perihelion expected in the constellations Ophiuchus and Scorpius.
