I think that the sun transit also gives us vitality and strength. The Sun card in the tarot is also a good description of its qualities. I didn’t get much sleep a couple of nights ago, but found that I wasn’t too tired the next day. Usually I’d be really tired all day. I think it’s because of the Sun trine my natal sun at the moment.
