The Big Beautiful Feud between Donald Trump and Elon Musk ignited in June 2025. They had criticized each other in July 2022, but not on the scale of the current battle.
The feud began when Musk called Trump’s Tax bill a “disgusting abomination” in a post at 1:31 pm on June 3, 2025 [see chart]. There is plenty of astrology to get excited about in that chart, but I want to talk about the significant long-term influence causing this feud. I believe this entertaining breakup is caused by transiting Uranus activating a specific synastry aspect, as mentioned below.
Something interesting to note before that is that Donald Trump had Mercury conjunct Uranus transit at exactly 1:31 pm on June 3, 2025.
The best way to understand the astrology of a relationship between two people is by comparing the aspects between their planets, called synastry. As shown in the synastry grid below, one of the strongest synastry aspects between Trump and Musk is Mars square Jupiter (0°52′), applying. Taking into account the age difference with precession, the orb is only 0°31′

This relationship begins with an abundance of positive energy, enjoyment, excitement, optimism and a sense of adventure. May 27, 2025: Uranus square Mars transit (May 10 to June 14) makes Donald Trump more impulsive, willful, reckless and rebellious. He is more easily upset and irritated, and more likely to lose his temper and act rashly. Trump will assert himself more aggressively and spontaneously, especially when provoked, threatened or upset.
Acting impulsively carries a significant risk of unwanted repercussions. But trying to act calmly during an adrenaline rush is exceptionally challenging, especially in his position. This erratic, sometimes explosive energy is difficult to contain, and attempting to do so can be hazardous.
Trump must somehow find a creative, sexual, crazy or unorthodox way to express his willful independence and passionate desires safely, while being in the most responsible, structured, and hierarchical workplace imaginable.
The unintended repercussions include outbursts of anger, temper tantrums, arguments, revenge, accidents, cuts, burns, significant disruption, conflict, and, in his position, the potential for surprise military attacks and war.

June 6, 2025: Uranus opposite Jupiter transit (May 19 to June 14) dramatically increases Musk’s need for personal freedom. He will feel a strong urge to react or rebel against what restricts his freedom of expression or goes against his beliefs, morals or values.
Musk has been enduring a tense and strained relationship, yet has not reaped any benefits from it; in fact, the opposite is true. He is now breaking free and probably experiencing an enormous sense of release. However, this sudden breakup can lead to an unexpected change in circumstances, direction, or fortune.
This is not a good transit for gambling and taking other risks, especially as Jupiter rules wealth. Extravagance and erratic behavior could lead to losses, embarrassment, scandal or legal trouble.
Musk may experience a strong urge to change things to make a better future. A change in social interaction, beliefs, morals, philosophy, religion or spirituality may be beneficial, so long as extremes are avoided.
The newfound freedom gives Musk the ability to think and express new ideas. This transit can promote heightened awareness to transcend daily routines and spark a spiritual growth spurt.

Toliman gives beneficence, friends, refinement and a position of honor. [1] This star imparts a fatalistic attitude, and friends who come to the natives’ assistance. [2]
Whoever has this star prominent in the horoscope will be noted for great enthusiasm for whatever causes they embrace, and they are likely to be quite self-sacrificing about it. They can even afford that expenditure if the star is well-aspected (sextile Pluto), for they truly do indicate a bountiful flow of energies. [3]
