Song History (1346)

Jishui is one star located northwest of Bei He (North River); it represents the proper provision of wine and food for official ceremonies or state affairs. If this star cannot be seen, disaster follows. If Jupiter transgresses Jishui, aquatic products will fail to mature; fish and salt become expensive, leading to famine among the people. If Mars transgresses it, there will be military conflict and flooding. If Mercury transgresses Jishui (Accumulated Water), it signifies floods or droughts. If a guest star transgresses Jishui, military conflict arises, great floods occur, and high-ranking ministers feel worry; this is expected to happen within one year. If pale blue or white cloud formations intrude upon Jishui, there will be floods across the land. [6]
