On this target date, I would have spoken to my boss-associate about calling it a day@end-March ’17 and stepping over to another work environ that is better suited to my being. To understand if a particular moon phase is good or bad for you look at the aspects it makes. Conjunct your Moon so more good than bad due to the loose trines to Mercury and Saturn. And as you already worked out, look at other transits at the same time. Jupiter conjunct Mars transit Dec 2016 the Apr 2017 should bring success.
Do not ever worry about Houses, they cause confusion and unnecessary fear. Aspects, transits and fixed stars are all you need.

My birthday is this day. My sun sits with natal Jupiter, Venus and Mercury in my 5th Pisces. I don’t know why health would have been singled out above all else. Anyway, a birthday eclipse simply gives extra significance to your special day but also to your solar return chart. I think I might have to disagree with you a little on this, although we have a lot of similar thoughts.
An eclipse does lend itself to a wish, but I feel that there is also some deceit or missing information. If Skat can enhance psychic thoughts but with a consequence, this is surely backed up by two minor players, Psyche and Lilith, facing off. Meanwhile, we have Mars and Jupiter opposite Saturn. Do you look or do you leap? I think this wish might be more of a deathwish, especially for us men reading this.

Hi Kristian. I would not pay too much attention to the asteroids. Sure they always have some impact but only a minor one in comparison to planets. (unless exactly conjunct something in your chart).
Yes there is a risk of it all coming unstuck with Mars Uranus opposite Jupiter. It’s going to depend how this impacts your chart but for some a calculated risk will pay big big dividends.

I think you have made a mistake. Sun is not square Jupiter or Uranus or Mars.
Jupiter is opposite Uranus and Mars, and Square Pluto. Mars, Uranus and Venus also square Pluto

Good article, I enjoyed reading about the LE and SE. I am a bit concerned about the SE at 8 Pisces and my natal Sun is 11 Pisces and opposes Saturn in my 9th house at 16 Virgo. Since the SE s conjunct my Sun I decided to look back to see what other years the SE was also conjunct my Sun. One ones I will never forget is when the SE was at 8 degrees Pisces and my mother passed away. My father passed away when there was an eclipse to my natal Sun and the same degree. I know the transits also make up a lot of what has happened. Dec. 28th I was rushed to the hosipital……my back went out and from there I went to a nursing home/assisted care living place until January 25th of this year where I had physical therapy. January 13th my niece lost her battle to cancer at the age of 42. My birthday is not until March 2. I hope this is not a prelude to more things to come. I understand when a SE conjuncts your Sun it is a year of change…..Any input would be appreciated. Than you for writing your informative articles.
First let me express my condolences regarding the loss of your parents along with your niece, and all of your tribulations up until this point. I’m not an expert, but from what I’ve read many of the Piscean horoscopes are pointing to health being a main focus of many of these transits. In addition Eclipses point to endings as well as new beginnings, and new beginnings can’t happen unless something ends. I don’t know what your personal beliefs are, but I’ve read on several sites that Eclipses also have something to do with reincarnation, if you believe in that. I don’t wish to offend anyone, however regardless of your beliefs, it can’t hurt to study a little more in depth different astrologers takes on Eclipses and how different cultures viewed them. This solar eclipse square both my sun and saturn (natal sun opposite saturn) with 2 degree orb. While transiting neptune is square exact my natal mercury. But on a positive note the eclipse is trine to natal Venus in cancer @ 8 degree and sextile to my natal neptune and Pluto with 2 degree orb.
Last eclipse hit my 9th house and oh boi did I started taking my immigration process seriously. Let’s sew how this turns out.
In my SR I have 6 squares and one semi square. Five of those squares (Moon, Venus, Uranus, Jupiter, and Mars) are all squared against Pluto, and Saturn is squaring off with my AS. Mercury and Uranus are Semi Square.
The last four ( five really) years have had a very interesting mix of bitter sweet victories and failures; (I moved to another state and had a dream job but it paid crap, had to give the job up because couldn’t afford cost of living there anymore) thanks to the Uranus/Pluto square. Much of this for me has been themed around a balancing act between my job and home life. I can’t seem to get the two to sync. And its getting really, really annoying. I get a great job that has career potential with PTO and Mon- Fri schedule, but the folks in the environment are toxic and the pay doesn’t fit the cost of living in the area, or it goes to the next extreme where I get a great job, great environment, great pay, but I’m never home because I’m always working crazy hours. I just want the two to sync.
I’m hoping this non sense comes to an end and I can get the two to sync. That’s what I’m praying for from this eclipse. I know things aren’t always going to be perfect but this extreme polarity between the two is getting ridiculous.

Its interesting that although there is much of interest I enjoyed reading in this post Jamie, one statement “you can be of great assistance to the victimised and outcast” with my natal grandtrine as already mentioned Chiron 6Pisces 5th, Neptune 8Scorpio 1st, Mercury 8 Cancer 9th and being one who has endured much victimisation and been outcast (Pluto opposite my 0Cancer sun, rendered me homeless- couch surfing since 2011) yet done my best to heal and not employ the victim energy potential to manipulate and control with chiron in Pisces in this trine, it has increased my hope and faith that I may actually be able to turn this around after years of hard work with it, that I am in a position to help others similarly suffering in some way to help themselves out of it, or perhaps vice.versa as in someone who has been too yet no longer is, will be able to assist me thus both be helping others, i dunno, something has resonated and I sense it matters. The last eclipse at 22 Leo was amazing for me! It was conjunct my ascendant at 24 Leo, Jupiter was at 23 Libra conjunct my Mercury, sun and moon at 21, 23 and 25 Libra and the sun at 22 Aquarius made a perfect trine. Wow what a week I had! I dumped a lifetime of judgements and fears and my body buzzed and vibrated as it released so much stuff! I am 72 years old so there was a lot to let go of. Jamie I was wondering if eris conjunct uranus and loosely mars here would make this eclipse anymore challenging.
Not much detail is available on the internet with respect to eris in natal chart or transit.
As for this eclipse it falls in my 4th house. Uranus conjunct eris is squaring my natal mars @22 degree Capri 2nd house. With uranus I think I shouldn’t even try and guess how it will go.. Heheh
Quite a few people circa their mid fifties are going to have the eclipse opposite their natal pluto in virgo and trine their natal neptune in Scorpio. If these were in the 2nd and 4 house respectively, the eclipse of the sun and moon is then in the 8th house and would oppose pluto in my 2nd. Could this mean a loss of a partner’s income and even the loss of a partner for many who have these planets in the 2/8th house? Could this also mean letting out a house or doing one up? Is the eclipse negative or a positive one if it opposes natal pluto?
What bearing does this eclipse have if one’s sun/moon midpoint is at 10 virgo? What is the best way to use the energy of this solar eclipse?
Today, the 25th and the last couple of days have been a real challenge, Jupiter being currently in my 12th house opposing Uranus in my 5th while it is in trine to natal Uranus in Leo 10th, huge surges of rage, thankfully able to spew it beyond sight or sound of others, because it would really have taken others down, most if whom are mere the straw braking the camels back type thing, the salt on the wound, especially as the eclipse forms a trine with nat neptune in 1st and natal mercury in 9th I “know” when I am being used, abused, deceived or given lip service or being retained for personal gain or being manipulated back into a corner to enable controlby others or scapegoating to occur, always have for the most part, yet mostly attacked with it being all in my head…which it is, yet isnt and as this rebirth is occurring it is really riling me, that this time those who do now inderstand me alot better are the ones trying to pull the wool over my eyes again AND my own old conscious habits tfyiig to reaffirm and reform. The anxiety of trying to manage wrath without causing har, or hurt is huge as is the energy and focus required to still it, almost non existent in pisces season, still it has been doable and hopefully I dissolved all fuses now too. Bon fortuna one and all! Hoping for the best, with faith, in the “nothingness” from which anything, something, everything comes into being. It is finally within reach of making new formal informed choices to begin with, phew!

Mr. Jamie i’m really in a unique situation I believe and I wanted to ask this This Solar Eclipse is right next to my Natal Saturn at 9′ 55 degrees. What happened in your life? Did you move?
I’m contemplating why this period is like spring / summer ’15. It’s a continuation of then .. having permeable boundaries, worrying about communication devices, being quite sure there isn’t privacy where others think there is, and stonewalling apathy from those who seem like they should put out more. That would be transiting Saturn on my descendant but it was present in ’15 as well. That was too much of a rollercoaster (is this ride, um, maintained?) and don’t want to extend it through the upcoming months.
Hi Jamie, since the last part of 2016 and 2017 so far, my life is a mess, nothing seems to go well, I’m overwhelmed and I dont understand, is it because of the aspects in my birth chart?
